Go to your history book. I'm sure you own a history book that was printed by the Japanese government and the Ministry of Education.

Go to the part where it talks about from the late 1800s and till the mid-1900s. It will talk about how fast Japan arose from nearly being unknown to one of the superpowers fighting in WW1 + WW2.

Does it have anything about colonizing other countries? Of course it doesn't. The Japanese government made sure not to leave anything in there.

@taka2010jp You haven't received anti-Japan education. Last time I checked your history textbooks don't mention the brutality of the Japanese occupation of Korea, the Bataan Death March, the Rape of Nanking, do I need to explain any more? Don't try to act like Japan was ever deserving of victimization. Koreans may have committed atrocities in the past but the Japanese have done far more and far worse. That being said, that was a long time ago and be glad that most of the world has gotten over it
