So I haven't put up a video for a...well, awfully long time. It's been quite a while. I was on my computer back at my house during spring break. And with nothing really to do, I came about a video that is on the computer.
It's a compilation of segments from a weekend (a long time ago) that my Dad, Uncle, and a few of my dad's buds spent up at my cabin snowmobiling. My cabin is located on the outskirts of the Mesabi Iron Range. It is located approximately 40 miles E-NE of Grand Rapids, MN. It is really fun to be up there!!! Of course, a lot has changed up there since this video was made (heck, technology has advanced a lot too, being that this was most likely recorded on an old-school video-recorder), including the "garage" seen in the background in a few spots of the video. The cabin was once actually a garage, with the stove and such seen at the cooking part. The major changes were the doors being taken out, and the "garage" being turned into a one-room cabin. Some windows were also added, eventually it was carpeted, and other things were tweaked. Today it has electricity (makes some things easier up there, including living LOL); but it doesn't have everything modernized. There is still a wood stove used for heating, and no air conditioning. It has plumbing, but only one sink that uses a gravity-style plumbing. Point is, is that some of it has changed for the better, and some of it has stayed the same as it should.
I love being up there, and watching this video is cool because seeing some of the history of up there is pretty darn cool. The sleds they rode were some of the old Arctic Cat Pumas. These date back to the 80's, when snowmobiling wasn't obviously as advanced as it today. The bacon that my dad was cooking was Hormel (LOL).
Snowmobiling is always fun and it's always a blast to go up to my cabin and mess around/have fun and be laid back, as seen in this video.
@rononyourmom Thanks! My dad's gonna try to get his old pumas running. Hopefully I can try one out someday!

@Superninga13 You know I'm not really sure. Superninga13 seems to know. I've never really worked on them before. Sorry! =\

@Superninga13 I've rebuild 2 440's.My chetetah wouldnt idle and i found out it had a bad crank seal. It's real easy to see if they're bad. All you have to do is get the sled running and "nurse it" alive and keep it in that range. Then while someone is doing that spray a short small burst of starting fluid around both sides of the crank seals(behind the clutch and around the recoil starter). In doing so, if they're bad the engine will pick up RPM because the seal is sucking air into the crankcase
