you can't run the system 7.0 get the system 7.1 min max mac os 7.5.3 in powerbook 170 ,first get the system 7.01in startup disk ,copy the system in your hard drive 100 MB min and eject your startup disk and restart your macintosh
start with hard drive and buy a ebay mac os 7.5.3 (not CD a floppy disk!!) and install mac os in your powerbook = :-D so bye !*
