In path of exile you can not get any advantage for real money. You can buy only nice effects like weapon glow or pet, that can not help you in the game.

Thats good to hear if theres no like you get potions skills and anything effects the gameplay and makes you better than the other I might try because it looks good like old games not cartoonish.

The game isn't pay to win, the only things you can buy are cosmetic effects such as animations, pets and extra storage space, they need to make money somehow.
