My fiancee and I were recently blessed with the opportunity to take a volunteer vacation to a small rainforest village in Costa Rica. Our time there was ever so fun and uplifting, the land was exotic and beautiful, and the villagers were among the most warm-hearted people one could ever hope to meet in life. If you ever get the chance to visit it, El Sur is a place that I'm sure that you'll also forever hold dear in your heart.
You'll see the community, the warm-hearted people, the animals, the plants, the cabinas where we stayed, the volunteer work we accomplished, and a hike through the rain forest.
(Special thanks to AmeriCorps which gave me the chance to win this vacation through their national video contest, Travelocity Travel for Good for getting us there, and Globe Aware for providing such an amazing volunteer vacation program)
Thanks for posting these videos..I did a Globe Aware trip to El Sur as well..This was well done and brought back many wonderful memories...Aren't they just wonderful, warm, and friendly people...I love it, thank you..

PURA VIDA, Jamie! You are a STAR!!! The families are thrilled with this video - they all have copies and watch it regularly with friends, family, and other volunteers.
