Marvel vs. Capcom 2's second-hottest pirate begins her own search for the world's most powerful swords.

Ruby Heart turned out a LOT better than I thought she would. I thought I'd have to take a bunch of creative liberties in making her, but when all was said and done, the only thing that didn't match up was the fact that, for whatever stupid reason, Soul Calibur 3's character-editing mode didn't have eye-patches available for females. It seems like such an obvious thing to include (in fact, males had the option of TWO different eye-patches), yet Namco neglected it. Good job, guys.

Forgive how terrible I am at playing Soul of Ivy. She was my best character in SC2, but they changed way too much of her fighting style for me.

And yes, I said Ruby Heart was the SECOND-hottest pirate in Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

Tron Bonne fans know what's up.

Ruby Heart: Pirate - Soul of Ivy
Bishamon: Samurai - Katana
Stage: Valentine Mansion

Special thanks to Wood for playing the 2P side.

  • But i get ur point i have SC3 and making costume characters can be a pain but rewarding to see ur creation kick ass

  • just try your hardest, with some confidence and faith you can do anything(except raise the dead)

  • Got 'em, haven't tried them yet.

  • off the topic did u get my SC4 battle suggestions

  • OK i trust u (sigh of relief ) thank u

  • Guess I should've mentioned earlier that only certain jobs get certain styles. A Sage won't learn Soul of Tira. If I remember right, s/he'll only learn Soul of Sophitia and Soul of Cassandra.

If you want Soul of Tira, you'll have to use an Assassin character. My memory's a little rusty, but a Thief might be able to learn her style, too.

  • u being sure cuss I'm pulling my hair out getting soul of tira and more disciplines for a character i made for my friend (shes a sage) and can only use chines swords ( the long skinny ones)

  • To get more styles for a character's job (including the "Soul of" styles), level up a character with that job in Tales of the Sword (or whatever that mode is called) or keep playing that character in versus matches.
