@injamaven You're right, but, just a friendly correction, it was actually Loki's wife, Sigyn, who had to hold the bowl for him. He was bound to the rock as punishment for tricking Odin's son, the blind god, Höðr, into killing his own brother, Baldr.

I remember that Loki was chained under the mountain w poisonous snake venom dripping above him. His mother held a bowl to catch it, but when she had to enter it, it fell on him, creating earthquakes

@injamaven Mordred is from the British legends of King Arthur, not Greek myth. As for the music choice, the lyrics seemed to fit Loki, the trickster, the outsider cursed by Fate to do what he does. Granted, this doesn't excuse some of the things he does (especially in the traditional myths!), but I always saw him as kind of a lost soul trying to find his place in the world, with disastrous consequences. But, that's just my own personal interpretation of him; everyone's is different.
Nice choice. I had not considered that Loki is very much like Mordred.

@AmelieLaNoire Thanks! I love the Arthurian legends, and Mordred's always struck me as a sympathetic character, cursed by Fate and the vengeful influence of his mother to do what he does, and so, he reminded me of Tom's interpretation of Loki when I saw the movie.

@pendragonalpha Thanks!
The snake is named Jörmungandr. He's so big that he can wrap around the world, and tradition says that Thor's actually had quite a few encounters with him. He lives in the sea, and one day Thor went fishing and accidentally hooked him on his line. Also, during the final battle of the gods, Norse myth says, Thor will fight Jörmungandr and kill him, but then will die from the snake's venom.

@aram171089 Thank you!
The song is called "Mordred's Song", by Blind Guardian, from their album "The Forgotten Tales".
