This exercise is great for the entire leg, but it really focuses in on the back of the leg and gluteal muscles (butt). There are several different levels of this exercise, so you can pick the one that's best for you.
It's recommended that you talk to your doctor before starting to workout. This is basic exercise information for the general public. If you have injuries or other physical limitations, this exercise may not be appropriate.

  • @QuantumTengu I'm sorry, but that's just nonsense. If you're a bodybuilder, it will help you just a little. But for the average person, cardio is the best warmup.

  • @QuantumTengu thank you very much

  • @junjougirl Do your crunches first as the biking will use up your glycogen stores which will make it hard to gain any muscle. Also, strength training uses up glycogen which will force the body to burn fat instead of glycogen during your cardio. Always do strength before cardio!

  • @Lucifit ah so the key is to do as many until you cannot do no more...thanks so much for the help :)

  • @junjougirl you should always do as many as you can, until you can't do another. The key is to select an ab exercise that is hard enough that you are fatigued by about 30 repetitions!

  • @Lucifit Okay so i could go from 30 minutes to 40 for awhile...and how many crunches should i do.

  • @junjougirl adding crunches will definitely help to shape your abdominals. I'm not a fan of jumping jacks... If I were you, I'd just do a few more minutes on the bike, or increase the speed or intensity to burn more.

  • @Lucifit So when i do my bike i should add more crunches and maybe jumping jacks as well?

  • @junjougirl Yes, more movement of any kind will help you to lose fat! Whatever you are doing now, if it's more than you were doing before, will get you to the next level of weight loss. When you reach a plateau there, then do a little more.

  • Does an exercise bike help with losing fat in your stomach? Because i lost it from the sides so far..and i do crunches after my bike though...so doing these two exercises are okay?
