While training in Richmond with the Iron Triangle Training Group. Engineer Brian Hagan from City of Chico Fire Dpet. performs a hinge cut to gain access. Brian perform this cut from the top hinge down at the direction of the instructor for filming purposes only. If you ever have the chance to perform the on a real fire leave the top hinge for last. it will hold the door up and in place until you are ready to drop it out and away from the access point.
