Are we living in the end times?

I believe Jesus is coming back. However, some of the signs that are proclaimed either do not exist or are in decline. If the sign is in decline does that mean that Christ's return is further off?

When I say Jesus I mean the Jesus that was portrayed as a man that walked on water and turned water into wine. I do not mean the sun. Of course we need the sun.

I can see the confusion though, when the sun reflects on water it does look like it's walking on water.
