USA Today:
Stirling Energy takes on the solar power challenge, January 2008.
When the sun breaks through the clouds here, solar dish No. 0 springs to action. Like a giant sunflower, the mirrored face of the 40-foot dish will follow the sun continuously from east to west throughout the day, generating electricity for 10 to 15 homes.
The dish is a prototype for 70,000 that a small Phoenix company hopes to plant on two 7,000-acre solar farms in the California desert over the next seven years. SupportSunrise.com
I agree, there is no hidden agenda here. They are simply doing there job, so suck it up. It is an ENERGY company, thats what they do. Try going without gas or electric and then comment!

only thing "green" about Sempra - is the 300 billion profit they made in the last quarter - double that of the year before.
Sempra is the monopoly/terrorist significantly behind our suffering economy.

I agree.
This is so bad it is almost comical.
Advertise environmentally friendly on one hand while at the same time running 160' tall steel towers through a State Park on the other hand.
I hope people can see through the cholla to the real truth.
SDG&E is a corporation and stands to make a LOT of money if this is built.
