Love the way they refused to play to the usual stereotypes of female musicians.In so many ways they and other female punks were ahead of their time. Wish the female musicians of today would take a leaf out of their book.

They were like a female version of The Police. Got to see the reunited Slits (Ari & Tessa) about four years ago and Viv Albertine solo a little over a year ago. Would have loved to have seen them all together back in '79.
