Exactly.......when art is an experience, not being air-brushed and sterilized. I happen to like Carol Channing's singing......but I guess I am partial because I love sprechstimme.....tell me anyone who could do concerts like Marlene Dietrich's of Carol Channing today.

I love Barbra...however, Dolly really is Carol's. Carol is fantastic. It's her role for sure. As for Gentlement Prefer Blondes...I think Marilyn, not Carol.
