  • My father was under Patton, Went it with him at N. Africa and through the war. Dad said if they let Patton lead and fight the war his way it would have been over sooner. He didn't play the political games. He was in the 3rd. Infantry division. Read about them in WWII. The Nazi's called then the 'Blue and White Devils'. Wehn you seen the 3rd division you'll understand why. The 3rd took no quarter and gave no quarter. The most decorated division in WWII. 4 ampib landings. my father did all 4.

  • @4everUSNavy You sir should learn some history. The Russian Navy DID skirmish with the Japanese in the northern Pacific. Russia DID fight Italian forces, Romanians and Hungarians too. Russia Did not win the war alone and neither America.

  • Without Russia, We would still win the war anyway. We would end up nuking Germany and japan into submission years later

  • In addition to him having many military ancestors, one of the family's friends was John Singleton Mosby, a former Confederate guerrilla fighter. They would often reenact battles and such from the war, riding horses on the ranch near Pasadena.

  • @catnip513 im american and i think we didnt do enough in WWII

  • @martynrobin121 I agree that the Soviets faced the brunt of Axis forces in Europe, but it was the United States who not only supplied themselves with plenty of war material, but Great Britain AND the Soviets. Would The Soviet Union have had the successes they did without aid from the US? No. The key to that war was the United States.

  • @4everUSNavy LEARN HISTORY- The Soviet Union played the main role during WW2 by far-FACT! The Red Army wiped out more Axis troops in 1 Battle than the entire Western Front. The Red Army after 1943, Fought 75% of the Axis forces, This gave the Allies the advantage to land in mainland Europe. The Soviets did fight the Italians and just about every nation in Europe-Axis Alliance. Also the Soviets did fight the Japs, Battle of Manchuia the biggest Jap defeat in history, Over million troops defeated!

  • But for there contribution, Russia lost a staggering 20 millon men in a 4 year period, from June 21, 1941( first day of the German invasion) to May 8, 1945( the German surrender) with 90 percent of Russian men aged 18 to 60 years old dieing .

  • Patton is Legend

  • @PeaceFromRome First off, it would help if you could actually spell "Aryans" correctly. Secondly...aghh forget it, just get yourself some education.

  • I would like this a lot more without the narration. That guy sounds like he is doing a monster truck rally, not a historical documentary.

  • @ad220588 Even If i where to believe that Nazi's actually tolerated (even half) Jews, if Hitler won the war he would have immediately proceeded with 'purging' society of non-arians.

as Nazis? Sinister Occultists. Its a good thing they made up the minority of otherwise fine German soldiers.
