@HEY2319 Why should I, as a non religious person, have to study your book when you, as a christian, so clearly haven't? Oh, and I thought this applied to your comment.
"Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear." Ephesians 4:29

Finally! Thank you, Taylor! I have been telling people about this Tebow crap for a while now and I get the same hate you are talking about. People always seem to think it is a personal attack when it is a media attack.

The verses were taken out of context...but i do agree that Tebow does make his prayer very public...and I am a christian. It's ok to pray in public but it has to be genuine and for God's gain not your own gain. And before one of you annoying know-it-all trolls try to start an argument with me, please- don't waste your time...i know what i believe and you sitting here telling me i'm wrong isn't going to change what i know.

@DoubleOBlooDMeat there is NOTHING wrong with giving praise to God in public, as long as you mean it from the heart. My comment was more directed towards Kapownd's nitpicking of the bible verses just to make Tebow look bad. You can call me ignorant on the fact that I don't watch football so I don't really know Tebow's true intents but I am far from ignorant when it comes to Christianity.
-
@OilyJar So; you're saying everything he is doing is right? Fuck that dude, you're ignorant.
-
@GangstaHoopa16 and you do, oh please don't give me that shit like you have read the bible or pray every day for god's grace your just like the other hypocrites.
-
if you were a real christian you would know that he is praying for everything god has given and helped make this world better or such and such not for a football pass. Of course he thanks god for his help and grace AND i understand the point you are trying to make, but you should know that everyone in this world are not the same and life is unfair, but it's not to progress from the unfairness it's to see how much of it you can take and keep standing after it's all finished. Hope you understand.

@xKapownd what version of the bible did you get these verses from

Praying in public was what the Pharisees did; they exploited the church for money and power. My church youth group did this thing where we would go around our city, praying for random people in malls, streets, stores for whatever problems they may be facing. Does that mean we're a bunch of hypocrites? Personally, I found it to be an amazing opportunity in reaching out to those in need.
This video is what you call nitpicking. Glad that you admitted that.
I think making this commentary was more ballsy than anything tim tebow does (not hatin on tebow)

@SirTilley I've gotten more hate on this video than Tim Tebow has in the media. They LOVE him, he's an easy, go to, feel good story that complacent viewers everywhere love to gobble up. All that said, I still think he's a genuinely good guy at heart.
