    I really don't care if all the things in the book are true or not, but I know that people do go through things like this or worst then this, and they get more f***ed up than this, it is what drugs and addiction do to you. James Frey is brave for writing and opening the hearts of so many and touching so many people with such a rare style of writing. I don't care if it is true, I just care that the book touched my heart and I will read it no matter if it's true or not. James Frey <3

    I don't care if he "lied". If anyone wrote a story about their own life, you would lie a little bit too. The character James to me is inspirational and I know there is a real James like in the book out there somewhere

    The thing is; he wrote a memoir in which he claimed was his life. It was an extraordinary novel, filled with gripping and shocking stories, and you couldn't help but not be in awe of this man who went through such horrifying struggles and cheering at his ability to overcome. Then, we all found out it wasn't real, that none of that happened, or if they did, they were so widely stretched from the truth. He made millions believe his life story, when it was all a total fraud and lie.
