My Marx 1666 engine has been having a problem on the Fastrak Switches. It seems that the plastic on the switch is not deep enough for the deep flange of the wheels on the engine. It lifts the wheels up enough to interupt flow of power and reverse the engine.

The wheels should move by them self when you push it. You might want to put oil on all the moving parts on the train.
