over the years, several regular customers had become good friends of the sole proprietor, myself included. he was one of the best booksellers downtown.
no problem about those stacks of books because they were sold quickly, otherwise the remaining books were placed onto the bookselves.
FYI, this bookshop had closed down in June this year because the sole proprietor had passed away suddenly, most unfortunately.

I'm sorry but if this is one of the best, heaven help the worst. How do you find anything? Hire some help or punch out a wall for more space. By the way, laying books on their side in stack is destructive to the covers!
