SMB2 - How to get to Glitch Floor

All right, here's how to get to the glitch floor. And before you do all this, BE SURE TO START A WHOLE NEW FILE ON THIS. So either take the memory card out or put a new one in. Step by step:
1. Start a new file in story mode.
2. Quit while you play the first stage.
3. Play that stage in practice mode.
4. Start an Advanced game in challenge mode.
5. You can quit on any stage from Advanced 1-10.
6. Go back to practice mode, switch modes, go to advanced, press L to switch to beginner, and that glitch floor should be highlighted. The name is ~ ~.
7. Play the glitch floor!

I believe the fastest time you can get for this is 58.60.

It's 58:60...unless you count the 58:61 someone got in PAL

What does PAL stand for?

Phase Alternate Line. It's a different system that they use in Europe and Australia and some other areas. Basically it's a different way to run the system, and there's changes in color, and most notably the FPS. In PAL there's only 25 frames per second, and in NTSC there's 30 frames per second. PAL is slower than NTSC.

@magicboy10xx I didn't have to play w1-1 in practice mode, and it worked when I quit expert 1. I only got this stage once (yesterday) and it doesnt work for me anymore...
