Taro Alexander Story Part 1

Taro Alexander, a charismatic 30 year-old actor, is the founder of the "Our Time Theater Company" - an artistic home for people who stutter. Taro describes his efforts to cope with stuttering as a child bu avoiding social communication and developing "tricks" such as word substitutions to conceal his stuttering. Taro decided to face his fears of stuttering when he contemplated losing his acting career because of stuttering. Taro began openly talking about his stuttering, discovered the self-help community and decided to dedicate his life to help young people who stutter. Taro founded "Our Time" so young people could free their inner voice and express themselves honestly and openly through the arts.
