what camera did you use

We have a pretty run-of-the-mill Aiptek GO-HD camcorder. It has bad sound quality, so we use another device to record sound. Read more about it on our Channel Page.

Hey Mooseflakes...

I have another question. The gun that the guy used in the awesome rooftop scene...was that a real gun? Did you use any special fx on the visual or sound end to enchance it? It looks so real.

haha, no that was definitely not a real gun. in fact, he was just making the shape of a gun with his fingers. and just mimed the kickback. and after we just added in sound effects and muzzle flash. made the best of something with no budget. haha. thanks for your interest!

i think that your camera shots are amazing and you have very good quality. however i believe the video would have been more successful with some music to back up the moods of the video. for example, upbeat music for running, and slow music for when the guy sees you guys. also, the video was a little hard to follow. but maybe its just me. overall i think you guys did a pretty decent job. good luck in the contest and sorry for all the criticism, i just think you guys have potential :)

(especially when you're being nice about it, haha) and we understand what you mean; the music and story-line each went under deep thought and consideration, and this final video/product is what we decided was best

I like this video and what it says about debt - sometimes isn't it just easier to pay the price in the first place?? also the shots are each so well planned and executed and the editing makes everything flow together in a really professional looking way. really nice job, guys. keep on shooting!

Thanks Mooseflakes. Thanks a lot. I told Belle that you guys must have used a real hand gun with blanks. Now I have to eat my words. She's prancing around "i'm right i'm right" like she's in 1st grade and now she's telling ME that I need to go back to school! Thanks! haha. Seriously, we were on the set all night and now I was just checking in on this awesome vid.
