  • YOu don't say Tienen animales. In spanish we use Mascota.. Like a Mascot for a pet.

  • tienen animales is just more generic. try to remember that you only speak one dialect of Spanish, my friend. Of course tienes/n mascotas is correct, but not everyone says that. And 'buenas tardes' is correct after noon in most dialects. I have often seen very well educated native speakers say buenos dias at, say, 12:30, check their watches and say, eh... buenas tardes :)

    Step Mom = Madrastra

    Step Dad = Padrastro

    ;)

  • Daddy= Papi (Latinoamerica)

    Mommy= Mami (Latinoamerica)

    :D

  • Padre = Father

    Papá = Dad

    Papaíto (spaniard) / papacito (latin american) = Daddy

    Madre = Mother

    Mamá = Mom

    Mamaíta (spaniard) / mamacita (latin american) = Mommy

    Padres = Parents

    Papá and mamá (papaíto and mamaíta too) only can used when you are speaking with a familiar (the same with papaíto and mamaíta)

  • Thank you so much for these helpful videos! My boyfriend is from Guatemala and as are his cousins, they speak english pretty well, but sometimes it is hard to understand them, so i am trying to learn a bit of Spanish so i know what they ask :)
