@homancore How did you ruin it? Ive used super kleer (same thing as KC I think) and had no problems with it. Did you add it too soon befor it was done fermenting or something?

The next time you make a 5 gallon batch of mead,
Start with ten cans of Welches 100% frozen concentrate juice.
Flavors are, Concord Grape, White Grape & Peach or White Grape & Raspberry.
Pick the one you like. Just make sure its 100% juice & no preservatives.
Also, Lalvin 71B is a good yeast for using with concentrate juice. Also, Add additional 1 oz of buckwheat honey per gallon. Ferment for 10 days than rack to secondary. Continue racking each month till clear. 2 to 3 should do.

Actually I screwed up on it by adding kc clearing liquid. I was impatient and wanted to speed it up. I just ended up ruining it. But! You learn from your mistakes. Im going to start over with the same recipie and put in in the closet for a year. Thanx 4 watching though.

pretty cool.....thanx for posting. What did it taste like? I've never tried Mead but I'm very curious.

@mrjc12 its still not done yet. Hopefully it'll taste like a semi dry honey wine.. ill let you know. thell be a bottling video
