  • Do you realize that many Nursing Homes are "Do Not Attempt Resusitation" (DNAR) facilities. At the time of admission a new resident "must" sign a waiver agreeing to give up their rights to an Advance Directive for CPR & Defibrillation. In order to gain admission they "must" sign the waiver. In the event of Cardic Arrest the staff will call "911" and allow the resident to die while waiting for the EMTs to arrive. This is legal protocol in the U.S.A. and in my opinion legalized euthanasia.
