Robot Mini Wars Part 4 (of 10) Heat C

Steel Avenger v 13 Black. Radio control 1/10th scale robots fighting. 13 Black is the longest robot so far at 16cm long and a 5cm width body. This was a quick fight.

The spinner robots do not have working spinners but in this case (13 Black) they form two low wedge-like shapes, so still useful.

The arena is made from thin wood mounted on nine 5 inch legs. Steel Avenger's high centre of gravity makes it hard to knock over. The pit is a cardboard box underneath with hand operated opening. We puff out flour from a small tube to simulate the pit explosion. The floor flipper is hand operated too - the operator is under the blue/purple cloth to the side.

@513mb Yeah, and to be fair your spinners weren't able to go either, so you were at a disadvantage.
