Matzke's 26 points powers BSU to 80-68 victory
Bemidji State's Heidi Matzke (So., G, Red Lake Falls, Minn.) scored 26 points for the second straight game and Stephanie Peterson (Jr., C, Bismarck, N.D.) grabbed a career high 18 rebounds to lead BSU to an 80-68 win over conference rival Southwest Minnesota State.
Late Mustang run helps SMSU get past Beavers, 63-54
Bemidji State University men's basketball perimeter tandem of Seth Haake (Fr., Eden Prairie, Minn) and Arron Evans (Jr., Minneapolis, Minn.) combined for 36 points on 8-of-14 from three-point land, but it was not enough as Southwest Minnesota State University outlasted the Beavers in 63-54 Northern Sun Intercollegiate action Friday at the BSU Gymnasium.
