I was recently in Dubai, which is part of the United Arab Emirates. It has the most incredible architecture! They try to break world records, like the tallest, most luxurious hotel and the world's tallest building, the Burj Dubai. They are currently working on the largest photo in the world, which will go on top of a new building, currently under construction. They certainly have vision and the get-it-done attitude. Very impressive. I will certainly go back. Most of the video was shot from the roof of the 4-points Sheraton on Sheikh Zayed Road. It was incredible up there...

I went to Dubai several times last year & loved it. I'm going back next year & I will stay at 4 points by sheraton for sure & see those stunning views from the rooftop myself. Yes, this was the 4-points Sheraton on Sheikh Zayed Rd. Not to be confused with another one by the airport! It is within walking distance of the Shangri-La. It isn't as elegant as the Shangri-La, but I love the restaurants on the 2nd floor and the top pool area. One complaint was that the bar on the pool level closed at 8:00 and the rooftop access at 10:00. Doesn't make sense to me! Hope that helps.
