This is Bill Bruford who's played with Yes, King Crimson, and many others. I always loved Bill's drum solo from this Modern Drummer Sound Supplement. It was just amazing for me to hear it back in the day. Even now when I listen to it, it really show the essence of a Master at Jazz & Rock combined. Anyhow, sit back relax and listen to a great performance. Keep Rockin' JOEDRUMS
I recorded this so many times this is a truely musical solo,so cool thanx joedrums:-)

Hi there,
great tune....about 30 years ago I got this tiny little flexdisc out of a drummagazine. I loved this solo and learned parts of it (as far as possible). Somehow I lost this impro and now here it is back to life............love it.......thanx
cheers.......armin

Joe - many thanks for this ... any Bruford's welcome and interesting
he's a consummate artist w/superb musical (read: not just rhythmic) sensibility, and fabulously interesting technique
I've yet to encounter his playing in any context that wasn't enjoyable
(FWiW) he's slowly turning into Merce Cunningham :)
