don't get this at all. it's like scratching your right ear with you left arm over your head! it seems to me to be doing more steps.

How hard is it to even up the 2 ends...make a small loop or circle around your pointer with both ends together and pulingl the end through and sliding it into a knot at the bottom?

I double up because my a lot of my thread is kind of old. So I thread the needle, and hang two even lengths. I knot by just twirling and messing the end between my thumb and index finger until a knot happens. Ha, it works for me.
