I don't remember this song. I like this version. The original verson with the male spoken parts sounds very dated. Does anyone have info who was behind The Chequers? Sounds to me like Euro disco. Disco sounds with little vocals like Silver Convention etc. Been hearing this version on XM/Serius' new Studio 54 channel.

They need to bring this music back!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing like this will ever be recorded again...Just amazing and beautiful! Like soaring above the clouds...Just close your eyes..and it takes you somewhere else. Thanks for posting.. haven't heard this in 35 years
