Chapter 12- Are you kidding me?



Sam- *Whispers* your girlfriend followed us, shes in the bushs...thanks again for walking me...goodnight.

(Sam walks up the steps and goes inside her house, as soon as Nat sees that shes inside he walks toward the bushes)

Nat- Rosalina...are you there?

(Branch moves to reveal Rosalinas face)

Nat- Why did you follow me?

Rosalina- I didnt follow you....I followed her..

Nat- Oh that makes since.

Rosalina- Well Nat you didnt even tell me you were taking her home.

Nat- So you thought what, that I was gonna run away with her?

Rosalina- I dont know...

Nat- So youre still "nervous"?

(Rosalina doesnt respond)

Nat- Well then I guess that means you dont trust me?

Rosalina- No Nat I do trust you…I just dont trust her.

Nat- Why? What did she do to you?

Rosalina- Nothing just I have a bad feeling about her.....

Nat- Rosalina I think youre just jealous, she isnt like that and even if she were I would tell her that I have someone that I really care about and love and that I have no intention of leaving her.

Rosalina- (Smiles) oh

Nat- You have nothing to worry about ok?

Rosalina- ok, I love you.

Nat- (Smiles) I love you too. So do you wanna go get something to eat? I could tell you about my plan.

Rosalina- Plan, about what?

Nat- Ill tell you, but first im really hungry. We could go see if the guys are still at the diner?

Rosalina- How about we just go somewhere where we can be by ourselves?

Nat- Oh ok that sounds good.


(Later that night after they ate Nat was walking Rosalina home and decided to tell her his plan)

Nat- Ok well I was thinking since Sam is such a good musician that we could have her in the band.

Rosalina- Oh...

Nat- You dont think that would be a good idea?

Rosalina- No your right, she really is a good musician, I think she should be in the band.

Nat- Oh really cool! *whoa she didnt freak, thats a first*

Rosalina- Yeah (Smiles) *Uhhhhh I cant believe this he really does like her, he only wanted me in the band because he liked me I mean I didnt even know what a bass guitar was and she play almost every instrument....im screwed*

(Theyre at Rosalinas house)

Nat- Ok well Ill text you when I get home ok?

Rosalina- Yeah

Nat- Ok well I love you sleep good bye

Rosalina- I love you too bye

(Nat kisses Rosalina on the cheek)

Nat- Bye

(He walks off)

Rosalina- *Why didnt he kiss me on the lips like he normally does?*

(Nat gets home and calls Sam)

Sam- (Sleepy voice) hello?

Nat- Oh hey Sam its, Nat.

Sam- (Looks at her alarm clock) um hi....do you know what time it is?

Nat- (Looks at his clock) oh im sorry I didnt even realize.

Sam- Its ok...what did you need?

Nat- Oh well um... I dont know I was just kinda calling to talk...

Sam- Um well..do you think we could talk when its not 1 in the morning?

Nat- Yeah for sure ill call you later then?

Sam- Yeah

Nat- Ok well, bye?

Sam- Bye (hangs up)
