After losing his mother to cancer when he was a child, George Throop will begin a Walk Across America on Sept. 20th, 2009, to inspire small changes leading to prevention of the many hundreds of unnecessary cancer deaths in America every day. George's mother died in 1985, two days before her 34th birthday. George was nine years old. On September 20, 2009, two days before his 34th birthday, he will begin his nine-month Walk of Inspiration Across America, arriving at the White House on June 18, 2010.

hey bro bring a book with u for people u meet to sign about people they have lost to canser then deliver it to the president help people along the way for every life lost to canser help some one else turn ur mothers life lost into a life gained bye helping some one in her name .can u think of a better way to honor ur mom good luck bro,and u will be walking tru snow if u leave in sept,go to all the fire department they will put u up and police will give u vouchers for hotels in there town
