We try to have a conversation with Charly every day after she has preschool. We are working on conversation vs. just randomly saying words she likes. She did pretty good this day at telling us about her day but she did tire of us towards the end, as she tends to do. 11/2/11

  • Wow, she responds almost exactly like my son.

  • she's so sweet <3 she's smart, adorable and pretty!

  • Your daughter is my daughter all over again ...lol... can you tell me what test you had her undergo to knw she was having seizures? In the 4 part videos you posted was my daughter in a nutshell lol and would love it know if its a problem for my daughter.

    Beautiful babygirl by the way!!!!

  • Sorry to add on to my previous comment (was too long): I am only judging from one video so I may be completely off. She does seem to be functioning really well though, and she's a beautiful girl, who's lucky to have people who care enough to work closely with her.

  • Hi, I was wondering if you've done any correspondence training with her? She seems to have good verbal skills, and does tell you what she actually did sometimes, but your comment suggests that often she will just lists off random (or favourite) items/activities? I'm not qualified to make any suggestions, I was just wondering if that was something you've heard about or tried. It consists of training her saying what she's going to do and then watch her it, and if she does it, you reward her.

  • How good is this. Nearly 5 minutes of a one on one conversation with her. She is doing so good!
