@Steve28277 It would have been a great film if they had a bigger budget. True, there were no US soldiers but US Sherman tanks were used at 2nd El Alamein for the first time. They were a gift from Roosevelt to Churchill, which is why the US had none when landing in North Africa a bit later. All they had were Lees and Stuarts.
