Wisst ihr, was ich schade finde? Dass Zeichentrickfilme, die sich eher an Jugendliche und Erwachsene richten, nur in Japan gemacht werden. Hierzulande gelten Zeichentrickfilme nur als Kinderkram.

For 1.01, there was a huge problem with the darkness levels. The video was accidentally darkened to the point where there are some scenes that you can't even tell what's going on unless you turn your TV's brightness up. 1.11 corrected that, was remastered for high-definition, has added special effects, and a few additional scenes. There's really no reason to get 1.01, get 1.11 instead. They have it in both DVD and Blu-Ray.

I don't get why people always say other language dubs are better; IMO, you can't really judge it if you don't fully understand the language.
and also, there has yet to be an englujdh dub for 1.0, and you csn't compare a recent dub to a dub that's over a decade old.
and while I agree some of the VA in the original English dub isn't that great, theer's not much that's bad, the only one IMO being the military guys at the beginning,
and Spike spencer's shinji is awesome, so is english asuka

Naja, ist so ne Geschmackssache. Ich find meistens die deutschen Synchros besser, selbst nachdem ich die japanische Version zuerst anhöre (gibt da ein Paar Ausnahmen wo die Synchro wirklich schlichtweg unanschaubar ist).
