1989 Honda Prelude 2.0Si (DOHC fuel injected), won't start. Makes not-normal noise when cranking, although it's sort of hard to tell from the video. Timing belt / water pump / timing belt tensioner were all replaced, and timing is correct.

UPDATE: Found the problem, seems that it was just flooded - although, I don't know how that happened exactly. Constant cranking while holding the gas pedal down finally cleared it out and got it going.

  • happens on my 87 accord when starting at times

    after starting if it is real cold then engine will just stall & you need to wait about 3 minutes to start it, trying to start it after it stalled will just flood the engine more
