There are a number of ways, but this is one of them and in our opinion the best way to pull a perfect pint of craft beer. Mike from the new flagship pub for Thornbridge in Sheffield, The Greystones, pulls a pint of Thornbridge Jaipur from behind the bar at The Greystones.

  • @dirtywaterclub No actual reasoned response? Just, "Oh, another bloody grumpy Northerner!"

  • @UFN100 Ooh, touchy, aren't you?!

  • @dirtywaterclub You obviously aren't taught to read in the South. My earlier response was "Are you from down south by any chance?" the phrase "Oh, bloody southerners" never left the my keyboard. My response was a simple observation on the location of the youtuber. As there is a distinct difference in the preference on how beer is served in the depending on where you live in the UK. As there was no response from musicrab there was no reason to carry on the discussion.

  • I want to drink it. Hmmm, looks like a cracking pint.

  • @UFN100 Typical northerner's response. No actual reasoned response. Just, "Oh, bloody southerners."

  • The pour looks amazing and like nothing I could reproduce at home. Am I going to have to travel to England now?

  • @iamjerryonly You're obviously going to the wrong pubs.

I'm a 'Southerner' in London, and been to many pubs that have Sparklers available.

Personally I don't like sparklers on ALL beers because they drive the CO2 out of the beer, and change the flavour of the beer, but I will accomodate them more on Northern Breweries because they brew their beer to be used with them.

Personally I think they should be used as to the breweries instructions. Take a look at the Good Beer Guide.

  • At the pub I work at, we always serve with a sparkler. Being a Yorkshireman, whenever I go down south, no-one ever accommodates and puts a sparkler on for me, so why should I take it off when Southerners come up here? The beer comes out a lot better, helps put a little more life into it. I mean, who wants flat beer?

  • This must be posh end of Sheffiled then.

  • There are some regional cultural differences in the way northerners and southerners like their pints of ale.
