Bulk material measurement

A laser scanner is set centrically above the conveyor belt. The enclosed area is determined by the difference between the scan onto the empty conveyor (zero profile) and the scan onto the loaded belt. By linking the enclosed area with the belt speed and material density, the volume and mass of the removed material can be determined. Data are processed on the LASE-PC and the results are output via a visualization and via divers interfaces.
