* HAARP is a giant death ray, based on a design contained in the notes of inventor Nikola Tesla, seized by the FBI after his death. This is a very popular theory, probably because so much of it is actually true. Tesla claimed to have developed a death ray with a very similar configuration to HAARP's actual configuration, and the seizure of his scientific papers is a matter of public record.
* HAARP is a weather-control machine. There's a certain logic to this one as well. If a butterfly's wings beating in Tibet can cause el Nino, then a gigawatt of electromagnetic radiation ought to be good for something.
* HAARP is an earthquake machine. Also based on a bunch of weird stuff Tesla discovered. Somewhat offset by the fact the HAARP array is clearly pointed at the sky.
* HAARP is a doomsday machine ripping a hole in the earth's atmosphere. Colorful, but scienfitically questionable. How do you rip a hole in air?
* HAARP has something to do with UFOs. Either signalling them, blasting them from the skies, or feeding babies to them.
* HAARP is a giant Mind Control broadcasting machine. Appealing, but if it works, why are people still such assholes?

You sound like you believed this video.

    ... Why?

  • @sanchazer

"ever heard of tomography? they use only 30 watts of the same frequency waves and have caused earth quakes.."

Sorry. No one has ever caused an earthquake with a high frequency signal in the range that HAARP utilizes.

You've been misled by a video in which a very silly person talked about 30 watts of LOW frequency waves.

  • it is more than enough power to cause earthquakes.. ever heard of tomography? they use only 30 watts of the same frequency waves and have caused earth quakes..

  • @ChrisW12208

    "They can create natural disasters"

No where near enough energy to do anything like it.

The effect of HAARP is so small it takes special equipment to detect.

There is no explanation for how HAARP could do something like this, it's just a silly belief some people decide to have despite better judgement, common sense and reason.

    "play god"

You should have elaborated on that one. It's an empty claim. It means nothing.

    It's just an ionospheric heater.

  • @ChrisW12208

"yeah pure junk the whole HAARP project they invested billions in."

What they actually DO at HAARP is not junk - I never claimed that.

But what conspiracy theorists claim that HAARP is doing, IS junk.

... And it's a few hundred million, not "billions".

"The chemtrails they spray in the skies."

    They?

Chemtrails have nothing to do with HAARP, it's a completely unrelated conspiracy theory, that is also all but junk.

  • @LazyJones1 yeah pure junk the whole HAARP project they invested billions in. The chemtrails they spray in the skies. Its all connected and costs an awful lot of money. They can create natural disasters and play god without the general public suspecting a thing. Especially the braindead mind controlled sheeple. The ones who dont employ critical thinking even though all the signs are there.

  • @ChrisW12208

What are you trying to say without actually saying it?

I do have an education, and I understand and employ critical thinking. That is how I know this is pure junk.

  • @LazyJones1 actually you should get an education.

  • It's really wird ppl, this is diversion or something, might be just a coincidence, the chem trails might be fake, i think they want us to belive that hey are so powerfull, if we know this, they want us to, they aren't retarded if they didn't wanted us to know this, we woudn't knew it.

  • [continued] ... it would be, or how strong the effect (if any!) will be.

It might as well put a damper on the tornado as increase it. Or it might lead to a colony of bees deciding to move into your attic, instead of your neighbours. Or to a rain cloud holding off raining until it has gone out over sea instead of dumping it on land.

Like I said - any letter in the alphabet.

  • @Dongdot123

I'll take the smiley as an indication that you aren't being serious. Good.

The butterfly effect refers to chaos theory, which states that a small change in the starting scenario can lead to a large effect in the end scenario.

But it does not state that you can control in any way the nature of the effect. On the contrary.

For the catalyst argument, A would have to lead to B.

But in chaos theory, A can lead to any letter in the alphabet, and we don't stand a chance figuring out which
