Since today is President's Day, I wanted to make another tribute dedicated to President Kennedy, but I thought I should include Mrs. Kennedy and make a tribute to this majestic First Couple.

The score is from "The American President" (1995) composed by Marc Shaiman.

  • @Jantv81 Jan, you're welcome.. that post was a year ago lol... funny, just tonight I was going through some of my VHS tapes and watched a documentary on the assassination in Dallas. Also, found a few clips of Blair Brown the other day from her show " The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd" I had forgotten about that show from late 80's...

  • @irish89055 Thanks for telling me.

  • What is the music in this video?

  • @xxDolllFacexx Blair Brown did an excellent job of playing Jackie to Martin Sheen's "Kennedy". But Katie does resemble Jackie to a certain extent.

  • @BlackieGirl Camelot was also used to describe the era in which the Kennedys took center stage. It was definitely more of an innocent time (innocent as compared to what we are dealing in the twenty-first century). It was an idealistic time and JFK represented youth, vitality, innocence, peace, freedom.. etc.

  • this score fits perfectly!

  • It was a great era in history.

Camelot was a myth, but the times were wonderful.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • Camelot? It's only a model.

  • @GeorgeVreelandHill I agree. Kennedy was no saint, who is? BUT,I believe he wanted to work towards peace in our time, and that's why he was forced to leave the world so soon. The womanizing is irrelevant, in my opinion, and Camelot was media spin.
