Interstate 8, between San Diego and El Centro, California, a Border Patrol check point.

We ended up behind a Mexican vehicle traveling to Tijuana, Mexico, likely from Mexicali, Mexico.

The roads on the American side are safer then the Mexican side.

Shouldn't the "BORDER" checkpoint, be conducted at the border of Mexico and the United states, rather than be conducted in between two states in the United states?
