NECN, I read in an article on Boston Magazine's web page, has a double meaning in some circles, as it means "Never, Ever Cross Natalie" as it says Nat could be quite testy when something wasn't done to her liking.
(NECN, is where both Chet Curtis & Tom Ellis, both whom anchored with Natalie are at now)
Congratulations on a very sucessful career! The closest comparison I could make here in the Hartford area would likely be when Joanne Nesti left WVIT-TV (NBC) channel 30 after 25 plus years, all with one station.
Natalie is still missed today, wcvb is not the same without her
