When the show was still on Alexz and Tim did an interview on a morning show on CTV and because of the length of the song the real life producers of the show thought the audience would figure out if they tried using Luke. So Tim does his own singing on this song. He said it was (at that point) the hardest thing he had done on the show...trying to keep up with Alexz's voice and doing harmony. He said they "did like a gazillion takes in the studio to get it." Well, it sounds to me like they got it!
