The Riogran (Jamaica) Health Farm is situated on part of an ancient sugar plantation in the historic upper reaches of the Rio Grande Valley. It is overlooked by Watch Hill, the famous look-out point for Nanny of the Maroons, and is adjacent to the Seamans Valley, site of a significant victory by the Maroons against a group of sailors.
The Eastern Maroon Capital of Moore Town, the Blue and John Crow Mountain National Park, Berridale where Rafting on the Rio Grande takes place, numerous farms, and hiking destinations are all within reach.
The Visitor can participate in the village life, catch janga and busso in the rivers, hunting wild hogs and benefits from the local peoples knowledge of medicinal herbs and potions. We offer honey products from our apiaries and fruit in season from our orchards. We reconnect you with the best of Jamaicas past, rejuvenate you with good food, exercise and rest, and help you to rediscover Natures blessings.
