As to the question, why should Jews be off limits, it really is about the Golden Rule. If you exist within a disposition of unjustified hatred against yourself, would you be content with media that potentially furthers that hatred?

He's overacting.

@felixjazzage But Nader isn't even a Democrat and he's outside the mainstream. You whine about me using the Mises Institute to represent Libertarians, but the Nader group is even smaller among progressives.
_
This little "Felix" troll hasn't made a SINGLE ENTRY worth reading and has nowhere made a coherent point.
-
@felixjazzage Yes, it was dumb of Nader to sign that from what I can see. I have no idea why he tries to align with the nutty Libertarian movement so often, nor do I understand his position on immigration (which is restrictive). It has damaged his career. The problem with those petitions is that they're used by Libertarians to claim that it's proof "all these serious people believe it was an inside job" -- thus exploiting the families who they claim they're trying to help.
-
@felixjazzage OK. I just watched that and nowhere does Ralph Nader imply that it was an inside job. As for the 2004 petition -- which was also signed by a Libertarian candidate for president -- it implied that there should be an investigation to see if anything could have been done to prevent it. If the Bush administration had knowledge that it was going to occur, they would have acted. However, mistakes may have been made that should have been picked up.

Uhm, Mr. Computer Douche, I'd suggest you look up "Presidential Candidate Ralph Nader on 911 investigation." You also should know he was one of the celebrity signatories to the 9-11 Truth movement's main petitions (2004).
Are you seriously stating that REASON has a 9-11 truther editorial policy? I've been reading it for five years, and I've not read a single solitary article with such a slant.
-
I'll give you computer science -- that is an area where Chomsky's linguistic work was applied by others (and still continues to be applied and taught). However, he has written on cognitive science and artificial intelligence (see some essays in Chomsky Reader, for example), and those writings have had an impact.
-
@felixjazzage Ok, where does he go wrong then?
_
And Chomsky is also a member of the National Academy of Sciences and he has been on a few "top 100 scientists" list. Where is a Libertarian who has made any such lists? The only Libertarian scientist was that nut who wrote a history of π and claimed to have debunked Einstein on usenet.
-
I have read some of Professor Chomsky's blatherings, but it's obvious you've never read REASON, despite your need to make blanket statements about its contents.
Reason, cut the shit about about anti-semitism and violence...
