  • @kevinayala1994 ...what?

  • So that's how original levels were created?

  • @artman40 Not sure, maybe...

I think they'd use something a bit more powerful then this, although it is called dev mode.

    Something similar though, i'd think.

  • How Do do it

  • @lerrok There's a timelapse video capped Super Meat Boy Level Editor by inthegray, it's actually a devmode showcase of how they did some levels

Though I do guess some levels need a bit more than just this editor..

  • @lerrok Thanks for the reply, I pretty much spent the whole day on it and learned a ton. I've posted a couple of threads and some of my levels on the steam forums under SMB if you want to check it out. GT is still RockLeeSmile there too.

  • @RockLeeSmile I pressed F2/3/4/5/6 randomly to open properties boxes, they're hard to click on though so you have to put your mouse under a field, like I was trying to do in the video.

Also, not sure about the other thing, I was just messing about :P it's not completed yet so I dunno if its that easy but yeah, it's possible because others have done it so it seems.

  • @RockLeeSmile I don't know why I didn't think to use the other F keys... man I'm dense sometimes. However, no answers to my other problems in those properties boxes unfortunately.

  • May I ask how you opened those menus with properties in them? I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the scenery objects and bandage girl to exist on the same layer as the active tiles...

Also, things with triggers? Keys, and key-boxes, no clue.
