Renowned concertina player Alistair Anderson is joined by Richard Thompson & Northumbrian piper, Kathryn Tickell, at his 'Diamond Dazzler' 60th Birthday celebration concert at The Sage Gateshead, 14th of May 2008.
Performed here are Sir John Fenwick's 'The Flower Among Them All', followed by 'Sir Sidney Smith's March'.

  • Lovely music! Only wish the volume on Anderson's and Tickell's mics could have been up a bit more.

  • Here's a thought, instead of teaching Pschology etc. at school how's about our own history and traditions being taught. There was a day when most families sang,played and danced even attended fairs and festivals, hell even had kitchen parties. Now all we get are a bunch of brainwashed bairns listening to Utter Crap. It's time to rise-up and enlighten the uninformed!
