This is a video of students at Newark Memorial High School in Newark, Ca. in the year 1989. They saved the best for last. 1989 was a great year! It was the year that I graduated from high school, it was the year my Oakland A's and San Francisco Giants made it to the World Series, the year my San Francisco 49ers won the Super Bowl, and the year of the big Earthquake in the San Francisco Bay Area. OK, so maybe the earthquake wasn't such a good thing, but it sure made 1989 go out with a big jolt!

The lockers and doors are better painted.
Other than that, not much different!

Wow. Pretty wild. XD I'm a Junior there now, and it's crazy to see how the only thing different is clothing and hair styles.

I like how the campus seems a lot greener back then.

What I find scary is that the only really noticeable change between then and now is the way the students and staff dress. The school looks almost the exact same!
