That looks like so much fun! Unfortunately, they don't seem to do these in New Mexico (I looked at calendars). Was that a cap gun or did you pop balloons?

The gun had blank cartridges in it, that shot a load of powder about 10 ft out there. That's what popped those balloons. Same noise tho. I positioned OTB so I could shoot towards her hip. I didn't want to hurt her ears.
I sure enough had a great time.
You should get with the EXCA or the UHCA (ultimate horseman's challenge) folks and organize one down there. It takes a while to catch on, but it's worth hanging in there for the results.
