I've been trying to convince Chinese for more than a decade and a half that Japanese can do traditional Chinese music better than the Chinese today can.

@krakker1234 younger generations usually don't care about the past...its the older generations that hold grudges. anyone knows that...WELL! I hope they do. i bet atleast 80% of those people that you interviewed are 40+ lol.

@AssassinGhost I never said Western architecture was influenced by Chinese architecture. But the parallels are there. Rome invented concrete, but it was un-reinforced. Steel was invented in 1800's, which eventually were married in 1900's. Because the structural concepts are parallel, Chinese cities today can use ancient Chinese designs as basis (instead of copy from West) - borrow from the past, incorporate with present, to create something uniquely Chinese, yet international.
